Defoamers

Defoamers are products designed to prevent the formation and break the existing foam. In many industrial processes the formation of foam becomes a major problem as it can result in incorrect pouring, lump formation, overflowing of containers, etc.

At Kigo Chemical we offer a wide range of silicone based defoamers, which have a particularly low surface tension and contain polysiloxanes as the main active substance. We also offer Organic defoamers, free of silicone. These are mineral oil-based defoamers that cover a wide range of applications, such as in inks and coatings.

Emulsions

Silicone based emulsions are commonly used as mold release agents in different industries, such as in the automotive industry, they provide shine to internal surfaces and tires, some other applications are wetting and/or sliding in certain parts of the processes.

Our emulsions are designed to offer our customers a wide variety of options for different applications, varying the percentages of solids and viscosities to achieve the desired performance.

In addition, Kigo Chemical offers highly functional and cost effective Nonyl Phenol Free (NOF) emulsions and defoamers based on naturally occurring surfactants. Our technical department can develop products according to the needs of our customers, complying with national and international regulations and finding alternatives to these surfactants or other chemicals that our customers need to substitute.
